High Ho!

The day you were born I was very angry with Creator because I had specifically wished for a Puppy--white with brown spots.

I apologize for that.  Though I won't pretend that I was sorry that day.  That day I was so angry that I nearly turned down a piece of Mama's Oatmeal Fudge which she had made to entertain the rest of us while she was busy giving birth to you. And you know how good Mama's Oatmeal Fudge is!  And you know I've never turned down a piece of Mama's Oatmeal Fudge in my life!  But the day you were born I was so angry that I thought about turning it down.  For, like, 2 seconds.  Tops.

On this anniversary of your birth I am very thankful for You, your friendship, your example, your love, and your being so easily house trained!
